This Privacy Policy explains how Namesake Digital Inc. ("Namesake," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit namesake.com (the "Site") and join our waitlist.

Namesake is currently a pre-launch business. At this stage, the Site exists to let interested individuals join a waitlist to be notified about our upcoming launch. We do not sell any products or services, and we do not process any payments, through the Site at this time.

What information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

• Email address. When you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you submit.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the Site, such as your approximate location, browser type, and device information, through standard web and analytics tools. This information is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.

We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal information, and we do not collect payment or financial information through the Site.

How we use your information

We use your email address only to:

• send you a confirmation message asking you to confirm your subscription (double opt-in);
• notify you about Namesake's launch, product availability, and related updates; and
• respond to you if you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your information for advertising by third parties.

How we collect and store your email (our email provider)

We use beehiiv, Inc. ("beehiiv") to operate our waitlist, store subscriber email addresses, and send confirmation and update emails. When you join our waitlist, your email address is processed and stored by beehiiv on our behalf. beehiiv is located in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

Double opt-in and unsubscribing

We use double opt-in. After you submit your email address, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You will only be added to our waitlist if you confirm.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us at info@namesake.com. Once you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you emails and will remove your email address from our active waitlist.

How long we keep your information

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our waitlist, or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we remove your email address from our active list. We may retain limited records as required to comply with our legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

• If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the rights described above and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
